Home Depot Workshop for Kids!

Looking for something constructive (and free) for your kids to do this summer? I recently learned that Home Depot offers free workshops for kids ages 5-12! Kids will learn do-it-yourself skills such as building a mailbox organizer or tool box. Every child also receives the infamous orange apron similar to what the Home Depot employees wear, as well as an achievement pin. The classes are offered on the first Saturday of every month between 9am-noon. Click here for more details!

I just have to share my opinion on this fabulous children's picture book that I've just read! It's called Someday and it written by Alison McGhee. The story chronicles a mother's thoughts and emotions as her daughter grows up from a newborn to an adult with silvery hair. It is a very heart-touching story and written very lovingly. I know many of you will absolutely adore it and want to read it with your little one! Here is a link to the Barnes and Noble site in case anyone is interested.
